Semiconductor Fabless Accelerator Lab (SFAL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Odisha at the Utkarsh Odisha event on January 28, 2025, which marked a significant step toward strengthening the state’s semiconductor and digital technology ecosystem.
Under this MoU, SFAL will collaborate with the Government of Odisha to:
- Execute the O-Chip Program, supporting semiconductor and hardware innovation
- Design and deliver training programs for government officials, building capacity in emerging technologies
- Drive AI-led initiatives and programs, aligned with industry and governance needs
The partnership focuses on enabling skill development, fostering innovation, and accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies to support Odisha’s long-term economic and technological goals.
It reinforces a shared commitment to building a future-ready ecosystem that supports innovation, governance, and sustainable economic growth.
