Netrasemi Raises ₹107 Cr in VC Funding to Scale Edge AI SoC Development

Netrasemi, a Kerala-based company developing Edge AI System-on-Chip (SoC) technology and part of the SFAL ecosystem, has raised ₹107 crore in venture capital funding, led by Zoho Corporation. The funding supports the company’s transition from early prototypes to production-ready silicon designed for global markets.

Founded with a focus on enabling intelligent computing at the edge, Netrasemi is building AI-powered SoC platforms that deliver advanced analytics, low-latency processing, and power-efficient performance directly on devices.

Scaling SoC Development and Market Reach

The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate the development of multiple SoC variants with advanced AI capabilities, optimized for diverse computing requirements.

In parallel, Netrasemi plans to expand manufacturing and marketing efforts, supporting wider adoption of its solutions across domestic and international markets. This phase reflects a shift from R&D-led development toward structured commercialization and scale.

Strengthening India’s Edge AI Semiconductor Ecosystem

Netrasemi’s growth reflects the broader momentum within India’s semiconductor and deep-tech ecosystem, where indigenous design capabilities, sustained investment, and ecosystem support are enabling globally relevant innovation.

As an SFAL-associated startup, Netrasemi’s progress illustrates how ecosystem-led platforms support fabless semiconductor companies in advancing from concept and prototypes to production-grade silicon for global applications.
