SFAL at SEMICON India 2025: Driving Collaboration Across India’s Semiconductor Ecosystem

SEMICON India 2025 emerged as a defining platform for India’s semiconductor ambitions, bringing together global industry leaders, policymakers, startups, and ecosystem enablers under one roof.

At this landmark gathering, Semiconductor Fabless Accelerator Lab (SFAL) played an active role, engaging with stakeholders across the semiconductor value chain and showcasing its vision at the Karnataka Pavilion. Our participation throughout the event reflected its continued commitment to fostering innovation, enabling meaningful partnerships, and strengthening India’s semiconductor ecosystem.

The event commenced on a high note with its inauguration by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who outlined India’s long-term vision to emerge as a global leader in the semiconductor space. Day 1 set the tone with insightful sessions, technology showcases, and exchanges between industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers. Collaboration and innovation were central themes, reinforcing the collective momentum required to build a resilient semiconductor landscape in India.

Building on this momentum, Day 2 marked a series of significant engagements for SFAL. A key highlight was the interaction with the Hon’ble Minister of Commerce and Industry, Shri Patil Ji, alongside Bengaluru-based EDA AI company SierraEdge AI, represented by Mr. Girish Desai and Ms. Bhavana Ballal. These discussions reflected the growing convergence of policy, deep tech, and innovation-led startups shaping the future of semiconductors in India.

SFAL also engaged with representatives from EE Times, sharing perspectives on the evolution of India’s semiconductor ecosystem and the role of accelerators, startups, and collaborative platforms in driving sustainable growth.

Day 3 continued this trajectory with ongoing interactions and ecosystem-wide engagements at the Karnataka Pavilion. Through conversations with industry stakeholders, partners, and innovators, SFAL reinforced its focus on nurturing collaboration and supporting the advancement of India’s semiconductor capabilities.

Across all three days, SFAL’s presence at SEMICON India 2025 underscored its role as an ecosystem enabler—bringing together startups, industry, and institutions to contribute meaningfully to India’s semiconductor growth story. As the event concluded, the engagements and insights gained further strengthened SFAL’s commitment to shaping a collaborative, innovation-driven semiconductor future for the country.
