Cablesmith, a Bengaluru-based telecom technology startup and part of the SFAL startup ecosystem, has secured investment support from the IIITB COMET Foundation for Rs. 50 Lakh as seed capital. This will help accelerate the growth of its Smart Optical Cable Management Platform. This milestone marks a significant step toward enabling intelligent, automated, and scalable fiber network infrastructure.
Founded by Muhummad Rameesh and team, Cablesmith is focused on addressing some of the most persistent challenges in telecom and fiber networks, manual operations, limited visibility, and inefficient cable management.
The investment support from IIITB COMET Foundation will help Cablesmith strengthen product development, expand deployments, and scale its solution for broader industry adoption. By bringing automation and intelligence into optical cable management, the startup is contributing to a more resilient and future-ready telecom ecosystem.
